My path
Before the needle, there was metal. I worked as a locksmith and metalworker for eight years, four of them with the Compagnons du Devoir, on their Tour de France. You move from town to town, from workshop to workshop, and you learn the true line, the compass, the part that has to fall within a millimetre. Those reflexes stayed with me.
Tattooing started long before that. Around fourteen or fifteen, I came across the first tattoo magazines. It never let go of me, even if for nearly ten years I did nothing with the idea.
In 2016, at twenty-four, I got tattooed at the Mondial du Tatouage, in Paris. I did not yet know that it would push me to change course completely. I left my native Brittany and drove 700 km to Soumoulou. I had the luck of learning from Mask Vader, at the Kame House Tattoo Club, who passed on a great deal of what he knows.
I have been tattooing since 2018. I started there, in Soumoulou, where I stayed another year as a professional tattoo artist. Then I came back to Brittany: I have been at Spirit Tattoo, in Rennes, since 2019.
I did not start out doing what I do today. Simple motifs at first. Then traditional work, which I began to revisit with dotwork. And it is dotwork that led me, little by little, to geometric and ornamental.
I don't think you find your style. I think it comes to you, through experience.
Everyone I have met in this world has given me something. Plenty of tattooers have left a mark on me, at different points along the way, but I have never tried to reproduce someone else's work: I have always followed my own process.
What I like about this job: meeting people, learning their stories, and creating. Some projects run for years. One client's arm, which started as a simple flash during my first guest spot in Rennes, was built piece by piece until it became a full sleeve.

A true artist. Nadoz listens, and knows how to magnificently bring to life an abstract idea and a project close to your heart. Well-thought-out compositions and a result that is always sublime. Hard not to come back to him for a new project. Go with your eyes closed, you'll be in good hands 😉 On top of that the shop is really pleasant and the other tattoo artists are great.

How I work
An ornamental tattoo is not a motif laid on the skin: it is a construction that follows your lines. Every project goes through the same four stages, in this order.

Your request
You describe your idea through the form: area, size, references, photos. I reply by email so we can talk it through.

The drawing session
We spend an hour together working up the sketch: this is where the collaboration begins.

The finished drawing
I send you the completed drawing two to three days before the appointment. You get to take it in calmly, ahead of the day itself.

The tattoo
We meet at Spirit Tattoo, 65 boulevard de la Tour d'Auvergne in Rennes, and we get to work.
Start a project
This form is the first step in building your project. Take the time to fill it in properly: the more precise your request, the better I understand what you want — and the better its chances of being taken on.
The shop
My work does not stop at skin. Metal kept me busy for eight years before the needle, and it has never really left me: I engrave, I carve, and I print my drawings on paper.
